WWA 2025 Conference – That’s a Wrap!

🔹 That’s a Wrap – WWA 2025 Conference! 🔹

Energy! That was our theme, and from start to finish, that’s exactly what we brought.

At the start of the conference, our Chairperson, Jason Croston, asked every attendee to bring their energy – and without a doubt, you absolutely did! From insightful discussions to powerful collaboration, this year’s WWA Annual Conference in Perth was nothing short of inspiring.

A look back at our days together:
🧑‍🌾Regional Conference (19–20 February) – Hosted by Lincolns, set the stage for collaboration and connection.
🔹 Day One (21 February)
🔥 Tom Boyd from Everperform kicked things off (did you like what we did there!?!) with “Igniting People & Performance – Unlocking Your People’s Potential”, sharing strategies to drive high-performance within ourselves and our teams.
🔐 Aron Robertson from Strategic Group delivered crucial insights on cyber security, with live worked examples.
💡 Mark Hooper and Prad Bhagavathula from Xero explored how we can reshape the profession, through small changes that can make a significant impact.
🧘‍♂️ Andy Balzat from Banana Life and Paul Pitsaras from The Open Mind Institute led an interactive mindfulness and team building session that had everyone engaged.
🔹 Day Two (22 February)
🌱 Jessica Richmond and Lindsay Ellis from Sumday shared their journey from CPA to start-up success, and left us with sprinkles of gold about challenging our perceptions of the future.
💙 Rebecca Maddern from RFDS WA (WA) led our Charity Session, highlighting the impact of this year’s chosen charity, the RFDS (WA) and there were few dry eyes left in the house! We are forever grateful for the work the RFDS does.
💻 Dan Beck from Kloud Connect and Krish Sritharan from Solutions Centric tackled the topic of technology-driven efficiency and helped us to harness our focus.
📢 We welcomed back Aron Robertson from Strategic Group, to introduce WWA’s new Communications Platform, which will be launching soon.
Gillian Lynn from Accountancy Insurance delivered a Power Update on industry protection.
🤝Brendan Taylor & Robert Prior from Lincolns gave us a spotlight on their firm, bringing valuable insights and the power of Sharing.
❇️ Our final session was an internal spark session, ensuring our Collaboration Groups continue their momentum into the year ahead.
👋 Jason Croston wrapped up the Conference and thanked everyone for bringing their best selves to this event.

A huge thank you to our incredible speakers, sponsors, and attendees who made WWA 2025 such a memorable and energising event.

A special thank you to Jason Croston – without you the Conference would not be what it was. Your leadership continues to propel this association into a very bright future!

The conversations, connections, and takeaways from these two days will continue to fuel our success long after we leave Perth.
